Bought these Braun type batteries to fit in my 14yr old Braun 3 Series type 170 model.
Watched some You tube videos to get an idea how to open up shaver and fit new batteries.All went well but when battery swap completed I needed to recharge new batteries for 1 hour with power cord before shaver worked.Batteries seem good quality and work well.Read full review

Braun batteries
Works well--holds charge longer than previous original batteries in shaver(they had decayed) I can now get a week/ten days between recharges. I would say that before spending the money on new batteries consider new cutters as well and then one may be close to the cost of a new shaver with the benefits that brings. I did enjoy taking the Braun series 3000 shaver apart but as it is fiddly and challenging----I would suggest that you take it apart then order the batteries . That way one can be reasonably confident of getting the shaver back together properly.Read full review

If you are careful and tenacious you can revitalise your shaver, better than purchasing a new shaver. Changing the batteries is a bit tricky you can see a demo on You Tube. These replacement batteries are the real deal not cheep copies batteries that do not stand the test of time.Read full review
