Braun 3040s Quality Product
Excellent, gives a very reasonable shave for the price. I shave everyday and have light/medium stubble. I also have very sensitive skin around the neck area so I'm unable to wet shave at all and have even had problems with electric rotary shavers but have had no problems with this.
It compares very favourably with my previous Panasonic ES7101S model. The battery life is great a week so far and it charges quickly. The side trimmer is wide and pushes up into a good position.
The Head is quite wide but that doesn't present any problems. With a little Talc applied to the face it gives me a very close shave without applying pressure.Read full review...

Dont buy this shaver!
Was very disappointed by this shaver. Does not deliver a close cut unless you go over the area several times. I only use electric when I am in a hurry so this is no use at all for that! I guess if you are happy to go out with beard shadow then you will be ok with it!Read full review...

A good value product but BEWARE as the price that they are offered at varies wildly . I paid just over £30 but the less cautious could easily pay double that or more for the same product/model . Braun is a reliable make and my new purchase replaces an identical one that i`d owned for several years . Be aware that the cost of replacing the shaver head / foil is high . It`s cheaper to shop around and replace the whole razor , especilly as the cheaper ( non Braun ? ) replacement heads seem to be of poor quality .Read full review...

I had this shaver for 5 1/2 years and was happy with it until it started switching itself on without me! The battery started life with 10 shaves between charges and was still doing 7 at the end.
