Goodbye waxing

Love this epilator! I've been paying for waxing for years, but when lockdown started I started shaving - every day!!! So I decided to brave the epilator and oh my goodness - why have I been 'paying' for waxing? This epilator is great on legs, under arms and bikini area especially as it comes with different attachments for different areas of the body. It leaves you smooth for weeks and when hair does come back it's so fine you can barely see it. (I have thick, dark hair). The downsides:
*the pain - but it gets less painful with each go and it comes with a cold pack to put on the area to reduce the pain. I've only used the cold pack to relieve a headache as I haven't needed to use it when epilating.
*I'm now getting ingrown hairs which I never got with waxing.
However, I'm very happy with my epilator. Just hope it lasts.Read full review

Does what it needs to do but could be more effective

Having previously used the epil 7 this is definitely nowhere near as good.

I feel this model breaks more hair than it plucks therefore the hairgrowth returns quicker than i had hoped.

Ive ended up with lots of ingrown hairs with this model too.

On the whole if you've never used an epilator before it is fine, but not as effective as other models, sadly i couldn't afford the better model this time around!

Good thing is with the corded model is that you never run out of power before you have finished epilating whatever area!

Epilates well.

So far this is working well but I do have a couple of issues. The mains lead is not very long so unless I use an extension lead I am unable to use this on my armpits, I have to sit on the floor. Also I wonder how long the main tweezering attachment will last as there are just different covers for different areas of the body. Read full review

Only used this a couple of times but very impressed so far - although it's a lot slower than shaving as you have to go over the skin several times to get all the hairs. Not the best

I've used an Epilator for many years and needed a replacement. This one is not half as good as my old one. It doesn't give a smooth finish and you have go over and over the area to ensure all the hair has bee removed.Read full review

Brilliant!

I am a man and a first-time epilator. I was not prepared for how painful it was to use the first time, the worst pain i can ever remember in my life.. but it was so worth it, the results were fantastic.. the second time was no-where near as painful, i guess because there are hardly any hairs, & because i am more prepared for how it feels to epilate.. the hairs grow back much slower & finer, although you defintely need to spend a little time to exfoliate & prepare before epilation, & moisturise afterwards, its absolutely worth it!
Also i prefer this model as its NOT cordless, i would not be able to do all my epilation in one charge of a cordless/rechargable silk-epil.
