Replace foil 3 or 4 times before considering new razor altogether

This was the third time I had replaced the foil on my Braun electric shaver. The shave is better but not quite the smooth, close cut the razor had when new. Photo misleading

Not sure if this is a real Braun. The photo showed proper Braun packaging, but it arrived in a plain plastic package. It works ok, but far too early to say how well it will last. I'll pay more next time.Read full review

Not the cheapest, but top quality

I like Braun as a brand, and foil shavers in general. I get a closer shave from foil shavers, with pretty tough whiskers to tackle.

I've tried cheaper shavers, but they don't last. I've had this shaver for years, and just replace the cutters when it tells me to, and it keeps working just like new. I do oil the cutters twice a week with Braun oil, and try to wash the cutters once a week (usually ends up more like once a month).

Buy the authentic Braun shaver cassette.

It shaves absolutely marvellous, particularly because it replaced a cheapo Chinese version, which at best was poor, then it fell to pieces. I'm very happy with this one.
