Superb Pixar animation . Brilliant in every possible way .
I adore this film, such a wonderful twist on the usual fairytales. Ancient Celtic law and legends form the backdrop that's stifling Merida, the young feisty Princess who should be married off to a Clansman, as tradition would have it . . . or could there be another way?
Wonderful animation that only Pixar can flawlessly create, great humour and storyline with voiceovers from Billy Connolly, Julie Waters & Emma Thompson. It's a truly magical DVD that I watch over and over again and am enchanted by each and every time.

I have not been able to watch much of this movie myself but my 5 Granddaughters aged 18 months to 5 years absolutely adore this film so do the adults, it is something for all the family.
Set around Princess Merida who is the daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, Merida is very headstrong and doesn't want to abide by old clan customs like getting married she wants to do her own thing but her actions cause chaos in the Kingdom - very entertaining.Read full review
