Great idea but lasted one month of roughly two cups a day and has now given up. Really liked the idea of not having to lift kettle to pour a cuppa b
Bought this 12 December and it has been fine as only usually have a couple of cups in a day but today it has given up the ghost.
Tried changing sockets, three times but this will not illuminate or heat up
Having to return to using kettle which is much heavier to lift and pour but do to the short lifespan of this product would not recommendRead full review...

I love this. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have recently developed tennis elbow so even lifting the kettle was a challenge. Not any more. Can fill as needed. Only boil what you use and it boils in half the time. It's perfect for me. It looks good and was a great price. Ensure you get right size of mug
Overall does make a mug of tea/coffee reasonably fast but be aware to use a big enough mug or it will either overflow or give you only three quarters so not as versatile as a kettle.

This was bought as a gift for an elderly neighbour.
I set it up and showed her how to use it and she found it quick and easy to use.
We both agreed it was a very nice looking piece of equipment which sat very well in her kitchen. The price was amazing. I would recommend this without hesitation and will save her money on electricity and has boiling water in what seems seconds.
