Overall fantastic for use with solar energy and in general!

Very good product that i managed to wire in from my 12v battery solar supply. Fantastic 10% (18w) energy consumption compared to a heat lamp (250w!) which costs me £1+ every day to run on its lower setting!

Recommended for people living off grid or wanting to cut their electricity bills right down!

Never use heat lamps again

Needs the free cover as birds sit on top as they get older. Terrified at first as to the height to set it. Maybe needs some sort of marker?
