Nice but disappointing track

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Chose this particular set as thought good combination of track, trains and people. The 5 supports for the upper level track are not wide enough, they need to cover more than just the track joints to give more stability. The track falls apart very easily causing much upset for him and frustration for the rest of us rebuilding. Also added the Mighty Red Action Loco to pull the non battery train. Neither sets of batteries lasted very long and a bit fiddly to replace. Fully intented adding to this each birthday, Easter & Christmas but unsure now his interest will continue. Would be much better on the special table instead of floor but expensive and takes up so much room.Read full review
