Great way to get organized with labels

I opted to install the labeling software that can be downloaded, it is a full fledged word processor for making labels, and it is up to date and Windows 10 compatible. You can use any typeface installed on your PC, set the font size as desired, even add graphics from files. It works fine with the inexpensive TZ tapes sold here, but there is a little post on the lid that needs to be snipped off as the 3rd party cartridges are lacking a hole that the OEM ones have. It works fine off an AC adapter so no batteries are required to use it. My main uses for this are for parts drawers and file folders. The printed tapes are very good quality, so much better than my old labelmaker with a keyboard and only a few choices for type size. Just be aware, the maximum tape size is 12 mm, roughly 1/2 inch, if you need to print on bigger tape, you'll need to shop for a different model.Read full review

Old Model Label Printer

I purchased one of these new several years ago. It worked fine until something went wrong, and since it was no longer repairable, l bought a used one. This one works so far. A little complicated to setup, but it does the job.Read full review

Excellent printer. Built in Software. NO WASTE WITH LABELS

This is plug and play. Has its own very simple label making software that gets the job done. Margins can be adjusted to prevent ANY and ALL label waste on both margins. This is not true with the PT-750W which always has left margin waste.

I use it in my lab. It is hooked to the laptop where I keep most of my daily lab progress notes. When I make a chemical alteration, I can immediately produce my test tube labels. Sometimes simple is better.

I own a Pt-750w which is wireless and USB. The software is external and it can be glitchy. Certainly the wireless connections are simple enough but it adds to the complexity. I don't need frills, I need the hardware to preform when I want it to preform. Both have identical print quality. Lots of color and various label choices and third party and OEM vendors reduce running costs.

Great tape makers.

This is great. It prints tapes up to 1" wide. I already have 3 of these, the set up is tricky because you need to install the drivers (free on the internet) and then download the software to run it off the internet (also free). Look up the serial number located under the tape cassette inside the machine and enter it when asked. The first tape I printed was the serial number and I attached it to the side of the product for future reference.I have had success printing PDFs as a part of a label.Read full review

Time Saver, Makes all your projects look professional with proper labeling.

I own three of these use use different size tape in each. Really a time saver. Labels are even water and heat resistant. Once you figure out the many uses, you will be using it daily. I use it for file folders, marking personal property, labeling my storage shelves and much more. Don't limit yourself to the 1/2" tape. I use a lot of the 1". I buy after market tape in lots of 10. Pretty inexpensive that way. Good Luck.Read full review
