An Economically Price Machine with Numerous Functions
When I purchased this machine, I wanted something easy to use, economically priced, and included enough options to sew a multitude of projects; Anything from repairing clothing and other household cloth items, and making items from patterns or from scratch.
Now that I've had the machine a few weeks I would say that it is an excellent, entry priced machine. It has a variety of stitches to choose from, including automatic button hole stiching. I've already made various projects with it, including using it to reupholster my recliner. Now I wouldn't recomment using this for upholstery on a regular basis due to the limited distance between the sewing surface and the foot, but I was able to complete the project and it turned out well.
To conclude, if you are looking for a good machine at a lower price point for clothing, cosplay, accessory items and such, this machine is a good choice. :)Read full review

I am very happy with my new sewing machine. I last one was more than 25 years old. So this new one has a lot my features. Can wait to sew my steampunk costume for the Renaissance fair.

Brother 6000ci
Was too expensive for the quality. I love the drop in bobbin, treading is easy and filling bobbin all easier than my singer machines. Very disappointed that needle threader is just like my singer that has never worked! That was main objective when buying Brother sewing machine!Read full review

Smooth.
I have used the Brother Cs-6000i a few times since it has arrived. It has a smoothness while sewing. Lightweight machine and computerized. Easy to figure out with a great instruction manual. Even though the light is in the perfect spot while sewing, and bright enough for me, I wish the stitch selection panel would be lit. I only use with light-weight cotton fabric so I wouldn't know how it works on a heavier fabric. Very easy to thread with instructions on the machine. The case is a cover and not a carrying case. So far so good. Thank-you Brother!Read full review

AWSOME BROTHER SEWING MACHINE
I'm a beginner sewer. I wanted a machine that was easy to use, but also something that I could still use as my skills hopefully progress. I read all about sewing machines and tons of reviews. I finally settled on my Brother machine. I'm so happy that I did! I absolutely love it! So easy to use! My favorite things about it are that you don't have to pick up the bobbin thread, the fact that you can adjust the needle to stop in the up position or the down position and the different speeds for sewing. For me, as a beginner, the slow speed has made such a hdifference, especially for sewing around curves! I'm hoping at some point I can get to the medium speed but, for now I am happy to sew at the slow speed. This is definitely the best investment I have made in a long time. Oh, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg! I highly recommend this Brother sewing machine.Read full review

Brother CS-6000i
This brother sewing machine is lightweight which makes it perfect to take to quilting classes and retreats. It does everything my Brother SE 350 does. I love these brother digital sewing machines because the bobbins are easy to load, they thread the needle for you and offer a myriad of embroidery stitches. Super value for the money.Read full review

Great machine
This machine is user friendly great for a beginner and wonderful for a seasoned pro to use for class. It's not heavy but it's a workhorse. Fantastic for making quilt blocks.

Easy to use sewing machine
It's been many years since I sewed anything. I learned how to sew in a high school home economics class. In the past, every time I tried to sew, I would give up in frustration because of mechanical problems with the sewing machine. This one is easy to use, and I am enjoying relearning how to sew again.Read full review
