Bryce 30W Guitar Amp

Chinese make, but has a good 10” speaker and a solid black vinyl cabinet and facia grill. It has first rate control knobs, clearly marked and graduated 0-10 fit clean gain and volume, overdrive gain and volume ( via panel push switch), low, mid and high equalisation plus a presence control, which is not often found on similar amps. Reverb is a digital echo which repeats at a higher rate as the control is advanced. At low settings, it adds ambience. With single coil pickups, it is possible to obtain “The Shadows” and “Surf” sound, for those who remember! There are also sockets for Send and Return to incorporate an external F/X loop.

Power output is rated at 30W - although I think this is a peak rating with RMS power being nearer 15W. However the amp is light in weight, easy to carry with the handle and would suit a small venue as well as home use.

Ideally, the amp should have a a dual foot-switch facility for its pseudo reverb and overdrive for a 5 star rating, but it performs well, looks smart and sounds well for a solid state amp. I would recommend it as a good learner amp which offers better tonal functions and a larger speaker than comparable models advertised.

Small amp, vast flexibility.

I had to down size my Carlsbro amp and, after a lot of research into a replacement. I chose this Bryce.
It's much smaller and the sound was a little "tinny" at first.
But i am used to 150w of power connected through my pedal board.
So after cranking the Volume up and setting the gain to 5, I plugged my board in.
Or rather " I looped a board in ".
This is why I chose this amp. I can pre-amp through my pedal board for a real boost.
The sound is vastly improved once all the fine-tuning has been done.
The headphone output is a bonus, and it's more portable than my Massive 150w stingray.
So all in all, it's exactly what i want.
Now I'm looking for pa speakers to boost this little babies sound when needed.

Would I recommend... Hell yeah!

Great little amp.

This is a great little amp, at a budget price. It gives a clear, crisp sound and is very light and portable. The perfect amount of distortion and sustain, for playing rock or blues and a dreamy echo and reverb for a nice Katie sound.Read full review

Great amplifier

Good solid amplifier, the sound output is excellent, the built-in reverb sounds very good, I've had amps with built-in reverb that wasn't very good, but this amp it's very Very good, nice to have the ability to change all three channels (bass, middle and treble) not often found in amps at this price point, so good all round amp, I couldn't be happier with it.
