Worth buying
Unlike some fat balls that look grey and unappetising, these are a decent colour and the birds enjoy them so much, they're emptying the feeders every day. Probably due to the recent hot weather, quite a few of the balls have come apart inside the cellophane wrapping, so I've placed those pieces in another type feeder. That feeder also gets emptied by end of the day.Read full review

Poor quality
Received these fat balls just over a week ago and the 4 I put in feeder are still there whereas the ones I normally buy I would use 4 a day. These fat balls are so hard I can’t break them up with my hands I even threw one on the path and it’s still in one piece. I bought these in bulk thinking it would save me money but I’ve just thrown my money away on them. Very disappointed Read full review

Starlings love 'em !
While these are not the best fat balls I have bought the starlings still destroy them in no time. Previously used RSPB Premium fat balls but they have got quite expensive. Smaller birds are still a bit fussy though 😂Read full review

Right next time.
I can't comment on the taste because I give them to the birds, so far they have not complained. We seem to be feeding the five thousand at present so may have to put them on ration. I slipped up with my order intending to purchase the 150 pack, never mind I will get it right next time.Read full review

Fat Balls for wild birds
Goods arrived on time and were in excellent condition.
Fat balls are good quality and have a reasonable amount of seeds in them, would certainly purchase again.

Too much plastic
The fat balls were fine. The problem was that they were wrapped in plastic in groups of six fat balls. This meant that there was a lot of unnecessary plastic waste. I’ve had boxes of fat balls before where none were plastic wrapped. The wrappings were clear plastic, no labels so I’m not sure they were for re sale. I would have preferred the packaging to be plastic free. Read full review

Happy birdies
The fat balls arrived very well packed, 6 per wrapper in a sturdy cardboard box. The fat balls themselves are well made and most importantly the birds like them! In factI need to get out there now and refill the feeders...Read full review

Feed Time Bliss
All I can say is the birds are delighted with this product and can’t get enough. It is also pleasing that the balls are packed in small quantity packs to keep them fresh. Would highly recommend and will be ordering more of them in future. They were also well packed and arrived quickly.Read full review

Bucktons fatballs
The birds love them. They appear to be made from good quality ingredients, come in a sturdy box and the are no broken fatballs. they are packaged in 6 wrapped in plastic. This is the only down side, I would prefer them loose as I am trying to use less plastic. However I do understand that the wrapping allows them to be sold on and protects against breakages. I top up the bird feeders as and when needed and have used a box of 150 in a month, that's how popular they are.Read full review
