Good as the brand name pullers!
As good as the brand name kinetic bullet pullers at half the cost. But you do need to be patient. I have used it to pull 9mm and .45 ACP rounds and it has removed all of them, but it does take several strikes on a good unforgiving surface to do the job. But I wold definitely buy again. It does save several times its cost in recovered bullets, brass, primers and powder when you make a questionable load that you need to recycle.Read full review

Safety is number one, and skimping on it can be a priceless mistake.
I have two important issues with this tool.
First is the lack of instructions on how to place the bullet in the device. It took me a little bit to figure out exactly where to place the bullet in the collet, but once I figured that out, it worked okay.
Second issue is the fact of it being made out of a low quality plastic (heat mold injectable plastic pellets at best).
You are talking about pounding a misfired or misfed bullet in its case to remove the bullet from the shell while it still has powder in it, and potentially still has the unused primer in it.
Spending a little more money on higher quality materials to make the tool is not too much to ask when the possibility of the bullet to discharge while striking it against wood is a reality, so maybe use polycarbonate (bullet proof) material would go a long way for safety purposes. Time will till!
The hammer seems to be built out of decent material time will till if it stands up to it. Collets seem to be made from low grade aluminum and o-rings seem weak. My recommendation would be to spend a little more and get a quality one from RCBS or one of the other reputable brands.Read full review

7mm rem mag salvage job
Was able to salvage 7mm rem mag cases from my old reloads. Average of 25 to 50 taps and the bullet drops. My bullets are crimped so had to take it easy.

Waste of money Chinese garbage
I used it to unload 10 ( ten ) 300 h&h rounds. It is now a worthless piece of garbage. The metal pieces that hold the shell base are aluminum. Not steel. They rounded out the edges and now it wont hold tight. I tightened it every strike too. Wasted my money and im not happy.Read full review

The hammer is for just a few rounds.
It is too much trouble to use. It would take hours to pull 300 rounds apart.
I made my own puller and it works great. I pulled all 9mm SWC's apart in less the .5 hours.

Gets the job done.
I go outside and wack it on a patio block. It isn't necessary to hit it hard, just repeated moderate blows and the bullet eventually comes out. The type of plastic used in the construction appears to hold up to the hammering without being damaged. Works quite well.Read full review

Fantastic and necessary
One size fits all case heads. From .223
-.45. they give you three. I've literally separated 100s of round. If you need directions you failed caveman 101. Assemble the petals binding them with a suitable rubber band or o-ring, insert assembled petals into fitting. Insert round. Screw down the retention cover. Smack against your nuts. Empty, repeat.
