Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (PC, 2009)

Very addictive game

Pros:
Great gameplay.
Strong simulation.
Nice scenery.
Nice sound track.
Cons:
Does not support H-shifter and clutch

oldie, but worth the plastic it's printed on.

While you can't download content from EA anymore (they want you to buy the remastered version, of course) there's plenty to love about the original. Takes you right back to 2-0-0-9. Still challenging, still fun. Great music, too. No BIG SURF ISLAND, as it never made it to the original PC version (although, again, EA makes it available in the remastered version). Responsive controls, well-thoughtout map, impressive crash mechanics. All around fun arcade racer. Online play doesn't seem to exist anymore since the servers at EA don't respond, which is a slight bummer, but the single player gives you plenty to do.Read full review
