A good read but not much in the way of Bushcraft but still Interesting.

I purchased this book as my husband has a real interest in both bushcraft and survival ever since he left the forces.
He liked how the book was laid out and the photos were fantastic however he did not like the fact that there was not much in the way of bushcraft it was more like a travel book. Having said that he did enjoy reading it from cover to cover.
He has said that there are better bushcraft books out there one being Ray Mears Essential Bushcraft which he also purchased at the same time.Read full review...

Very pleased one of my best bushcraft books so far, various topics clearly explained. Plenty of educational, informative and practical hands on advice for both the beginner or more advanced

not a guide/reference book!

This book was bought to gain more knowledge about bush craft and survival, however it is a book about the series and making of the programme! Better books out there!
