Very good trail camera

I would give this five stars except that I would like it to have better range and a faster capture time. When I approach it, it doesn't pick me up until I'm within twenty feet. There might be something I'm not understanding about setting the sensitivity. Placing the camera in a place where it can't miss is kind of an art. I get plenty of pictures of animals (I got it for feral pigs). Their trails are easy to spot, so I find the trail and set the camera. I do like the camera, though. I bought two.Read full review

JUNK!! Problem trail cams

Recently purchased two of these. Neither one works as it should. One would not detect motion but the timed exposures were pretty good but worthless.
The other detected motion but every image was so underexposed that the were useless.
Just another piece of mass produced Chinese junque.

Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Essential E2 119836C

My first camera was a Bushnell Aggressor HD Low Glow and it is awesome. This is just as good at an even better price. both take excellent photos and both receive very high ratings. My first season but am very impressed. Awesome daylight pics and very very good night time pics. I have mine set approx 20 yards from our feeders and have not been disappointed yet. Still learning to use them effectively but initial set up is a breeze and Li-on batteries are the way to go. Have heard some concerns on battery removal, and since I just got them I cannot confirm this concern but I did notice that they need to go in from the negative side of the battery and they went in effortlessly so I will assume if you remove from the same side there should not be much issue. I would highly recommend the E2 and without reservation.Read full review

Good quality, easy to use.

The daylight pictures and video are very clear. The nightime pictures and video are clear but lack a bit of definition when you try to zoom in to get a better look or crop the picture to put just the animal in it. I'm still playing with the settings. For the price I'm completely happy.

The settings are not confusing to me at all. It took a couple of minutes to figure out when to use the left/right and up/down buttons when setting things up. Once you get that figured out it's a piece of cake.

I have had instances where the camera triggered and there is no animal in the frame. I'm pretty sure it's because of my aim. Sometimes I've caught movement from a very small part of the back of an animal (skunk & racoon) just along the bottom edge. I think the motion/heat detector area might be just a tiny bit bigger than the picture area. Especially close in.

It's been out in the rain and cold and has had absolutely no problems. I'm betting the people who claim that the camera leaked probably didn't close the case properly or had something foreign across the gasket.

It seems great.

I just got this and I am very impressed with it's quality. It is very easy to set up and operate. The picture quality is amazing. I can't speak for the quality from mine because I just got it, but I purchased it on the advice of my grandson. He has had his a couple years and when I called him and asked what he recommended it was this one. I hope you enjoy yours as much we enjoy ours.Read full review

I WANTED BETTER FROM A BUSHNELL

The camera takes fantastic daytime photos but the night photos are all overexposed. I have tried everything I know. Move the camera farther away, higher from the ground, humidity has been 12 - 15% which shouldn't be too much. It is our sixth camera and we were hoping the BUSHNELL optics would make our elusive fox and bobcats a reality. Oh well, we will keep trying!Read full review

Small, light and works well.

So far this little unit has worked very well. Photo quality seems to be good and I especially like the Field Scan mode for pest control as the small animals (rabbits etc.) are less likely to trigger the sensor at distance. Overall this seems to be great bang for your buck.Read full review

BEST TRAIL CAM EVER!!!!

Best trail cam on the market! Super fast trigger time! EXCELLENT pictures day or night! We liked this one so much that we bought a second one! Better than the Moultrie camera we had before.

One of the best trail cameras

I run many brands of trail cameras year round and Bushnell provides some of the most crisp videos and pictures. Their battery life competes with all competitors a well. A great buy!

Exactly what I needed

Easy to setup even for a rookie. The shutter speed is somewhat slower than the other Bushnell Camera that I have, but that was known Everything good.
