Too expensive for the final product

Pros:
-Solid construction.
-Polished finish.

Cons:
-The inside laser is visible and is even a nuisance to the sight.
-The laser has a very rough and unaesthetic appearance and does not look expensive at all.

Have an Extra Battery On You

Well... I bought this knowing everyone complains about the battery. I put in the battery that came in the box and not surprised it didn’t turn on. Not a problem, I went to Walmart and got a 2 pack of energizer CR2032 batteries 2 for $5. Put one on and BAM red dot on. I put it on the 22/45 and it looked great the dot was crisp and was good at 11 brightness for the sunny part of the day(that was Friday). I go to the range that Sunday. As soon as I take the pistol out of the case I notice I forgot to turn off the red dot and had it at 11 for a half day Friday and ALL Saturday and half Sunday. To my surprise it was still decently lit up but very feint in shooting outdoors on a sunny day. I pop in the second battery I had in the case & done, I have a bright red dot. Sighted it in and have to be very impressed. I know I’ll always need to have batteries in my gun case but oh well. I have other Vortex optics that aren’t really for plinkers so I can put up with a $50 optic.Read full review

Great Red Dot Sight on a Budget

I was looking for a small light weight red dot with a smaller MOA for my rifle that would not break the bank. I had read some reviews on the TRS 25 and decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did because it meets all of my expectations. It is small compact with easy to operate dials. It was easy to mount and zero without adding any weight or bulk to my rifle's profile. The Bad and the good??

I bought two..
The red dot is not a red dot, it's a splotchy red spot. It holds zero just fine on both a 9mm and 556 carbines but the zero itself does not have a good MOA after 25yards..
Both purchased at the same time and both received the same usage. One-third the dot intensity knob not only is really loose the other is very tight almost too tight.
The red dot flickers on and off when changing intensities on the loose one while the tighter one does not malfunction like this.
The metal is extremely soft making it a very non durable optic.
I think there are definitely better options out there for a few dollars more..

Worth the money but not any more.

Decent quality red dot. Mounted on my .30 carbine. It holds zero and glass is pretty clear. The only thing I don't like is the switch to turn it on. Its very tight. Wish It had buttons or shake-to-wake option. Looking back now I will invest in a better quality piece. Not bad for the price though.Read full review

Good scope with 9 settings of dot brightness
