A readable history of a significant aspect of freedom of the press.

A well-written exposition of a neglected aspect of the campaign that eventually defeated the censorship of erotic publications instigated by puritan bigotry and homophobia. More copious illustrations would have enhanced its intrinsic value.Read full review
