Seemed good initially but........

Thought I would wait a little while before reviewing, after testing them on a few jobs. Bought two of these, only used the one set so far. Had high hopes as seemed solid and durable, compared to cheaper ones I've bought previously, which did not last very long. Unfortunately on last job, the end of the pliers broke off when knocking out old staples, which has been problem with cheaper ones I've used. Thought as they were a little dearer they would last longer. Obviously quality of metal used in fencing pliers is not what it once was, compared to older sets I had which would last a good few fears. Hopefully the second pair last longer if not i'll be trying another make.Read full review

Standard design, good quality, expensive

As you would expect from CK these are solidly made and being made from chrome Vanadium Steel they won't rust. Whether they are worth three times an unbranded pair depends on whether you are in the habit of losing your fencing pliers or wearing them out.
