I don't think this toy would be as enjoyable if it weren't so realistic. My two year old grandson loves to turn on the tiny balls and turn on the suction he was entertained for hours playing with this vacuum. Suction did not work.

This product was listed as having a realistic suction, I tried it out and placed a tiny piece of paper on the floor and ran over it with the vacuum. It didn't pick it up. I don't think this should be described as "realistic" if it's function is not going to resemble the real thing. The appearance looks like a vacuum, however the promise to have real like suction was not there. Also, the handle that detaches did not want to click in so it's loose and easily comes out. We have twin boys that are a year old, and the one showed a real interest in vacuum cleaners. Whether our real one or a fake 2" one, it didn't matter. What we didn't see coming was that the day we received it, was constant screaming because they both want it! Now they love to turn on the sound and push it around constantly.
