A meaty, powerful-sounding amp, but not the most refined listen

For: Excellent build, USB input, weighty, hefty sound, expressive midrange.

Against: Bass sounds tubby.

Powerful & warm

This is an upgrade from my Cambridge Audio A5 that has served me well for around 15 years.
I fancied a more powerful option & with an extra 15 watts per Chanel through my Monitor B2's it has made a big difference.
It has been criticised for a muddy bass sound but I haven't noticed any of that through the Monitors'
It's very tight & punchy even at higher volumes. I would seriously recommend this amp as an excellent high end budget beast.Read full review

Good treble made clearer and consequently makes albums you used to play sound like they used to.
