I found that removing the old battery is not an easy task. However, so far, it's been worth the effort as this replacement battery seems to be working extremely well and certainly worth the money. Seems to be the same as the original battery fitted to my TomTom 6200, It was easier to fit then I expected but had to use the original double sided sticky which was a bit of a fiddle. Not put to good use as TomTom appears to lose battery power almost instantly regardless of battery condition!

Good battery, only issue was that cable exited battery on the corner which required a piece of holder cutting of the TomTom unit. 4.5* would be more in keeping than 4* for that reason.

Correct capacity, physical size and plug

The battery feels well made and importantly correct physical size ( it has to fit in a very tight space ) and the proper 5 pin connection plug. Same capacity as original battery 1100mah. The old battery had been in SatNav for 6+ years, so due for a replacement. Battery life an improvement on old battery, should be back to life when satnav was new... The original battery was held in place by double sided tape and because of the limited area of the mounting moulding ( has a honeycomb type area ) the tape stuck to the old battery very firmly rather than stay with the satnav case and could not be removed from battery for re-use. Lucky I had some suitable double sided tape already, so not a problem. Read full review
