This is in no means a easy thing to fit

This took me about 6 hours over two days to fit. Access was almost inpossable. It's inpossable to do with out removing the clutch peddle and having a extra long pair of mold grips. (slim ones) take the back ball joint first. You won't get a screw driver to it. Take not of how the pin goes back in to. I then put the peddle back on and tackled the second ball joint.. The part works perfect. If you can not get the pin in then the ball joint is not fully pressed on. I would have given a five star review if they have a video on how to fit without the whole thing taken ofRead full review...

Very economical remedy

The secret is to take out the pedal pivot bolt, then the clutch pedal can be taken out and the unit fitted with ease onto the pedal making half the job very easy. Then the unit and clip can be fitted to the bell crank with relative ease. Then replace the pedal bolt and there you are. I must admit I had to learn the hard way. The alternative is very expensive as Renault do not sell a replacement rod so it would have to be a replacement pedal mechanism.Read full review...

Great but not easy

Bought this thinking I could fit it in place how wrong I was! So just a heads up you actually have to remove the clutch peddle and Ratchet mechanism, which isn’t to hard. But I wasted a good hour or more struggling to try and fit it with out removing the peddle. But apart from that great product which works well. Read full review...

excellent product

I did it the hard way and left the pedal box in situ. A bit fiddly with everything in place but took me about 45 minutes to do after several attempts and swearing lol. The way I did it was to line the ball joint to the ball end, use some tape to hold it place they pressed it on with mole grips. The other end, I used tape again and pressed it with a long screw driver and a bit of force. Wish I had taken the pedal off TBH. The item itself is far superior than the one that came off and is going to last.Read full review...

Clio mk2 clutch pedal rod/linkage repair kit

Very well made, I like the pins you install, so you won't have to worry about it popping off again and getting stranded somewhere! Also it won't come off as it is very secure once installed even without the little pins. Smooth action with it greased up and the added bonus of having two rubber washers so that it keeps out dirt, you install before popping on the rod.

Can be a bit fiddly to install, much better than the rubbish part from Renault. I think is a big design flaw and can be dangerous. Also much better and cheaper than paying for a whole new pedal unit. Would recommend highly!!

Clutch pedal linkage

Ordered & delivered on time πŸ‘ fast & efficient
Word of advice the video shows pedals out of car on bench! I tried on a 1.2L Renault Clio to fit in situ 😳 found it impossible to fit in footwell as part was impossibly tight to push over ball joints WITHOUT pliers! Had to remove clutch/brake pedal to fit & engage locking pins πŸ‘After realising this it was pretty simple πŸ‘ for an advanced ammeter mechanic πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§ not for beginners 😳Read full review...

Clio 172 clutch pedal link rod

The rod fitted perfectly once you take the pedal box out to get some space. This is no reflection on the part it's just how the repair goes due to the lack of space in the foot well.
As I say fitted a treat and the car driving well again!Read full review...

Better than original as you cannot buy seperate from dealer.

Bit difficult to fit. Had to remove auto adjuster to pop it onto balljoint in vise. but once on it aint gonna fall off. Renault dealer only offered whole pedal block at around Β£200.

Clutch pedal link Renault Twingo

Common part to fail on this model of car, not sold separately by manufacturer, instead they want to sell a complete pedal box at a price of Β£193 plus vat.... then the labour to go with it!
This replacement part is of top quality and is simple to fit in a fraction of the time. A***Read full review...

Perfect!

Arrived really quickly, practically the next day so very happy. Fits my car perfectly. Stopped a potential expensive trip to the garage. Great purchase!
