Good value but instructions limited & no USB cable included
Nice product & print quality is good. Having just 2 ink cartridges (black & colour), makes it easier to maintain. The instruction leaflet is very limited info & cant see what the functions of the buttons are. Was very disappointed that no USB cable was included & fortunate that I had a spare one, otherwise I would’ve been very annoyed as I needed to use the printer straight away. Photo quality is good though and would overall recommend this printer as you don’t need wireless connection which is good if the internet goes down. Read full review...

Won't work on a tablet laptop.
Having bought a printer with a cable connection I assumed it would work properly with my lap top.
It does not. Having contacted my manufacture the technician got it to print but not with the provided software. I get printer driver not available message, though vet loaded it twice. I am still trying to contact canon to see if they have a patch, but so far no joy. My lap top has a sim cad and is its own network. This is the second printer I have bought that is supposed to work on my system that does not. do not want to send another one back so can you contact hat canon to see if they can resolve this and I will keep doing the same. Time is of the escence as I must return it soon if a solution is not forthcoming.

You get what you pay for.
It was only purchased to finish some important work while my Canon TS8250 was being repaired under warranty. The CD wouldn't download despite several attempts on my office computer however after about 30 minutes I did manage to download it on my lap top which I thought rather strange as on both are operating on Windows 10. When it did work it sounded rather like a traction engine during printing and the end results were not that great.On a happier note Canon repaired and returned my other printer within 10 days and so this one has been offered for sale locally at a reduced price.Read full review...

Good Value,Works Well But No Ink or Cable.
This is my second Canon printer, the paper feed broke down on my last one (MG2450) after long service.
They work well but only when used with genuine Canon ink cartridges which is obviously why the printer/scanner is sold so cheaply in the first place.
The MG2550S is now supplied without any ink to get started with, nor do you get a connect cable which is a bit mean.Read full review...

Good value printer copier.
This printer is very easy to set up once you've got the connecting lead from printer to computer, not included in the box for some reason. Luckily I kept the old one which fitted fine. With this lead I was fine because my last printer was Canon as well, the instruction book is not straight forward and the manual not included in the box. Couldn't find it in the download either. Managed to get one on line to my favourites. All in all a good buy and cheaper than a set of inks for my old one.Read full review...

Great little Printer
I needed a no nonsense compact/easy to use printer, as I only need to print the occasional document, or send a few letters every now and again. I wasn't expecting much as the price was so low I thought it was a mistake..... but This ticked all my boxes.
