Nifty 50 stm.

I have used mine on crop ,750D and my 60D,both incredibly sharp results images under tests .
Gives 80mm and not 50mm also you gain tighter image within frame .
Putting nifty on my 6Dmkll ,tack sharp ,incredible dreamy bokeh, focus is faster because full frame is far better than crop ,colours are realistic ,vibrant colours ,also you can use the lens for almost anything .
Bear in mind it is not weather protected ,i will advise a UV filter 49mm to help keep it clean should you do street ,cities etc .
At night ,its fast so you don't need a tripod unless you are running exposure methods such as light trails .
Feels solid enough ,nice metal Mount ,deadly accurate on manual focus when you turn the ring .
Auto focus in any focus mode seems very accurate ,focus mode under settings in camera body menu .
In all a very decent resectable lens ,the only thing I found was its not silent ,could be because newness reasons .
For now I'll use the shoe mount mic when i play doing vids .
Great little bargain .

Great but problems on a cropped sensor eg rebel, 650d etc

Great but don’t use on a crop sensor if for video, the focal length is then 80 = the camera needs to be about 8 feet away . I had to buy a 24mm as soon as this arrived.
Still a great lens , better than a 24 but no use if making videos for YouTube. It’s a full sensor lens . Not an efs Read full review...

Best value lens I think I've EVER bought!

Beautifully sharp little nifty with a multi-coating technology I've never come across before.. Really flare resistant. Metal mount, Well engineered, Small, Light ( You wouldn't know it was on type lens).
Was a bit apprehensive before buying but now Im glad I did. Sharpness 10/10. Abberations/Ca 9/10.
Bokeh 11/10. Value 10/10. If you've got a Canon Do yourself a favour and get one of these. REALLY...!

High quality images from lightweight lens

Small, light, fast focusing, very sharp and good for low light shooting. Great value for money and all you need for everyday photography. I prefer this to a big heavy standard zoom lens

Just get one, you won’t regret it.

Nifty fifty lens, speaks for itself. Amazing value for money, great for portrait and street photography.

Low aperture rating means low light conditions aren’t a problem.

If your interested in the lens and like me scoured YouTube and anywhere else that reviewed them. Just get one, you won’t regret it.Read full review...

Fabulous lens at a great price!

Superb lens, super sharp focus (either auto or manual) but with great depth of field. If you want your videos or images to stand out then this lens comes highly recommended!!

Essential for any photographer

This is my first prime lens and I love it. It's so affordable and gives any images sharp focus and a nice blurred background. This is perfect for taking portrait shots

the "nifty fifty"

small, lightweight, large 1.8f stop so good in low light, this is a well made lens which has been improved upon in this latest version..focusing is easy and the attachment to a body feels reassuringly positive ..please remember though this lens on a cropped sensor gives you the equivalent of an 80mm lens.....not used much to date but do intend to do so!!Read full review...

Best value Canon 50mm.

Best value Canon 50mm.
Vs. Canon 50 mm f/1.8 (I-II): better built; smoother, quicker and quieter focus.
Vs. Canon 50 mm f/1.4: sharper corners, almost half the price.
