excellent for picture lovers
I have to admit to being a keen picture maker, both photography and painting/drawing for about 45 years.
Previous cameras include, kodak retinette, yashica FR1, minoltas, a Canon and a Mamiya 220C. The last recently sold on ebay
This camera is for people who want to concentrate on getting quality pictures with minimum learning and fuss. The definition is excellent shown on our 55" television. Colours are accurate with no further adjustments.
The camera can easily swap from aperture priority to shutter priority, or sports mode. This last function will continuously focus on a moving object and take up to 3 frames per second - good for sports or close ups of insects.
Depth of field preview is programmable and not hard to do.
A lot to do for the right hand, but easy to get used to. The Yashica used to have the depth of field for the left supporting hand.
Exposure lock and flash very effective, self focus and auto exposure a boon in low light and can be programmed for a single spot (my preference). Taking pictures indoors without flash, a delight, with accurate colours and a touch brighter with the self adjusting film speeds. On board macro good on a tripod too.
For the money, a little cracker for picture takers.
Poseurs and geeks will have to spend more for bragging rights to a more comprehensive spec. I would rather spend the money on an extra lens.
Handling easy even one handed. It is light (especially after the solid brass body of the Yashica), but stable and ergonomic.Read full review

ok
This is a easy to use camera good quality if your shooting net videos etc.. im a little gutted however when you want to take a selfy you can have a timer 10-5 sec set to get into position but its of no use if it want auto zoom because you have to hold the button down in order to get the auto zoom but if your taken a pic of a load of you hold button then itl focus on the others then you can nip back in the picture otherwise on your own itl focus on the wall youl get back in the pic not great pic i here one or two up from this will be a different matter.Read full review
