Canon DSLR Xti Rebel is Killer Good!

If you don't need a camera that does Video then the Canon Rebel Xti is a great value and a killer good DSLR camera for you. It's smaller and lighter then the later camera's in the Rebel series but still has a large easily read LCD screen and many other great features. I'd say, for the price you won't go wrong with this camera if it's an affordable DSLR your on the hunt for.Read full review

Old sensor equals bad quality images

Was hoping to find a camera to use for astrophotography on the cheap. But all I got was the cheap! The sensor is the correct size for imaging the night sky, but that is about where that story ends....quality? there isn't enough to get any results. The camera has 'issues' with noise in the data as well....

Astrophotography? Look elsewhere!
General daytime photography? Think about getting something much newer, and save yourself the headaches of subpar quality imaging.

Very satisfied with the purchase

Excellent (better than the factory !) shipping - one of the batteries were DOA, but no big deal - they aren't that much to get a couple more ! Very satisfied - just have to learn how it wants me to work it !! LolRead full review

Canon XTi

Camera has all the modes and settings of newer cameras. I will be along time for most beginning photographer to "over-shoot" Will print up to poster size. Any of the many EF & EF-S (EOS) inexpensive lenses will work !Read full review

May be an early version of the Rebel, but it shoots well!

Very happy with this camera, considering what I paid for a store display model. Excellent photos, easy to use and all around good camera.

Great Camera

I am a novice photographer and love my new camera. I bought it to take my daughters senior pictures and we both love the quality of the photos. Great camera, easy to use! Now to find a great zoom lense!Read full review

XLT- older but far from obsolete

An older model, great for training beginner photographers, Not too complicated to confuse a beginner with too many buttons or menus, or too simple for someone more experienced. Basic modes, creative modes when ready to advance, even a manual mode when ready for the big league Great incremental stepping stone. Read full review

Not My First

Not my Firs Canon EOS XTi. camera. For the price of a good used XTi makes it a great choice. I have printed 13"X19" cropped photos with excellent results. In this day & age 10 MP doesn't sound a lot, but believe me when I say it is enough for most photography. It is an awesome back-up for your newer EOS cameras too. Read full review
