I used to have a canonA3 but it was inferior both in speed and quality, and keeping it working, than the Brother A3 printer that replaced it. This version of Canon A3 is great, super photoprinting, fast A3 posters, quick ink change, variety of papers and sizes accepted, sadly no CD or paper tray, the paper is fed from the top. This printer moves the user away from simple A4 printing but at a realistic premium on the price.
The quality of Canon's ink set is outstanding and the compatibles work just fine for most applications, too. Ink tank removal and replacement is straightforward.
