Good WiFi printer, but -
I have bought Canon inkjet printers in the past, but this is the first WiFi one I have used. I had a lot of difficulty getting it to work as I found using the instruction diagrams without step by step instructions in English, hard to achieve the expected result. Fortunately there are plenty of YouTube videos which walked me through the WiFi installation and set up procedure, and after a couple of hours finally got a print. Apparently I'm not the only one who had setup problems judging by the online comments on YouTube. This seems to be a problem with devices sold in many countries that have to have diagrams as a substitute for the native language. This I understand, but Canon should make greater effort to make their diagrams more user friendly: not everyone is a computer expert, who is familiar with modern WiFi set up systems. All this said, l'm satisfied with the printer and I am now using it to print everyday from my iPad and laptop. Just a shame it took so long to get it working.Read full review

Printer ink cost is a rip off ...
I was taken by surprise at the cost of the ink for this product (its double the cost of the ink for my old one ) & wish I hadnt bought it , for this reason I will be getting rid of this printer & going back to trying to use my old one ..Read full review

Great printer but watch what you buy
The printer is great but some ship without the ink cartridges. I wish I had realised beforehand as the cartridges cost more than the printer did in my case, my own stupid fault for not reading the ad properly. Some do come with the carts at a fiver or so more, a local supermarket is selling these for £1.50 more than I paid with the cartridges included...wish I had been in earlier as I bought this a day before. Apart from that the printer is fine, easy enough to set up - get a cartridge refill kit though as new cartridges are silly prices. Great value with the cartridges less so without.Read full review

Very lightweight

Good cheap printer
Good cheap printer only down side is you can't connect smart phone direct to printer you need an app. And ink doesn't seem to last that long.
