Lightweight and neat
Prints very well, considering the cost. It is different to my last canon printer in many ways and does take a long time from the command to print to actually print. I do like being able to scan straight into an email which is a added feature to my old one.Read full review

Too clever and complicated for its own good!
Better instructions are needed. They say what the printer will do but not how to do it! It has a mind of its own in choosing the paper source. I can set everything up for the rear tray but it still prints from the cassette, or vice versa. Also it completely refuses to print from the internet. Unless I have a faulty version of the product I can only assume that I am not using it properly. It is much more difficult to use than my previous Canon Pixma MG4250 which served me well for 5 years!Read full review

The only problem was the driver software, other than that it work well
The printer and scanner work fine, but i couldn't use the driver software, since it clashed somehow with my Windows 11 settings ( appearantly other people also had that problem ), so i had to use manual set up, and then the windows app for scanning; other than that it was as described.Read full review

Good value home printer.
A good value home printer that was easy to set up and works efficiently. Have printed a number of documents from an iPad that printed quite quickly. I have also scanned a couple of documents, although this process was quite slow, but no slower than an earlier Epson printer I owned.
Overall this is a capable good value home printerRead full review

Worked out of the box.
Easy to set up and now able to print, via WiFi, from my laptop, iPhone and iPad. Main criticism is the cost of the printer cartridges. Two XL (1 colour/1 black) cartridges cost almost more than the printer. Printer = £59.99 Cartridges = £54.95 + p&p. Other criticism is that the paper tray and feeder seems very flimsy and I’m in constant fear it may snap off. Other than that it’s a reasonable replacement for my recently deceased HP.Read full review

Probably the quietest printer I've had.
Excellent photos printed on glossy photo paper, very quiet, compact, very good for home printing or small office. Scanning quality is also very good and quick.

Good buy
I struggled to connect it, but realised my laptop was in S mode, once that was turned off, it connected so easily. The print quality has been extremely good so far

Good but..........
There are two downsides with this otherwise excellent printer - one is the cost of cartridges (high) and the other is that, after extended use, the ink reservoir becomes full. It then costs more to deal with that problem than to replace the entire printerRead full review
