Good quality mid-range bridge-camera

I was very attached to my old Powershot A640 which is a good all-rounder and includes a number of features not found on "similar" level new cameras available today (such as an optical viewfinder and an easy to use photo-stitch feature for making panoramic pictures.). I was upset when my old camera stopped working because there is no closely similar new product available (modern cameras seem to be full of computerised "bells and whistles" which I am not inclined to master). So lucky to find this great camera.

Brilliant camera, located at last to replace the original which unexpectedly stopped working. This was easier than getting the first repared, but my thanks to the amazing charity in Bristol which restores items and sells on for charity. It's perfect. Well done.
The detail on the camera is so good that I identified a small piece of wooden jewellery by the ripples in the photographed wood grain. Read full review
