Have it again , happy again
I had one in the past, like 7 years ago, then the evolution of digital, specially the M4/3 take me to other preferences, even brands. Usually I was a Olympus and Canon user, from the Olys dslr 4/3 then the micro 4/3 and I sold my Canons ! There were many factors, even the small size of the m43, don’t adjust to what I need! A little camera with me ALL THE TIME ! Perfect size, great image quality, Raw, manual , AP, TP, zoom, great low light pics are the reason I returned to the Powershot G 11 !Read full review

So Far ....GREAT !
I bought a used G10 and brought it to Europe. I found that its ability to balance between intense shade and sunlight was minimal. Then I heard that Canon had improved that element in the G11. I have one now and it is truly wonderful. It's got more gadgets than a barrel of monkeys, so much so that if I did nothing but read the instructions and use the camera all day it would be MONTHS before I was proficient with everything it can do. On the other hand, after half an hour of reading and trying, this camera will provide you with marvelous photos. This model has fewer pixels than the 10 but I find you can still blow up small parts of a picture and maintain good image quality. It's also lighter, containing more plastic than the 10 but it doesn't matter to me. I really like it and THANKS to the professional who recommended it to me.Read full review

Excellent value
Although it may not win the megapixel war it more than makes up for it in image quality. Easy to use for a beginner with plenty of control for the more advanced shooter. Definitely not pocket sized unless you happen to be wearing a jacket with large pockets.Read full review

Excellent features & performance in a compact package.
The lens features zoom & closeup functions. There are manual settings for experienced photographers or the camera works well on its "auto" setting and produces exceptional photographs in either mode.

A great little camera
A great little point and shoot with enough extra features for the more advanced photographer. It's my back up camera, but I find myself reaching for it often.

Nice little camera.
Not up to Canon full frame standards but not bad for the time. I shoot it exclusively in RAW and keep in under ISO 400. With such small RAW files its easy to learn post=processing.
