Fabulous camera

I chased this camera for a couple of months on Ebay as the specs looked fantastic. 35 x zoom and 14Mp plus Canon's excellent software, it has lived up to my expectations and beyond. I haven't yet exlored its abilities fully - there are so many that it will take months - image stabilisation is great, resolution superb, HD movies, in camera editing and playback are easy to use and very effective. Altogether an incredible buy at a bargain price.

Great Camera with easy-to-use features

The camera arrived quickly- one day before the expected. It came in a box which was clean and the camera inside had no odour to my delight. There were a few scratches on the lens cap but other then that the camera was good quality and I loved it. The zoom was amazing (35x); it captured intricate detail from a further away subject. Canon SX-30 IS bridge camera

Very, very pleased with this camera. An upgrade from a 20.1 MP point-and-shoot pocket camera and although this camera is 14.1 MP the images are far superior, as one can use the x35 telephoto and hence start with a bigger image, suitable for enlarging.
A really good camera for anyone upgrading form a simpler camera. OK it is bulkier but the advantages far outweigh this.
Recommend.
I use it for taking in flight pictures at model aircraft events, and example shows the excellent images that can be captured, even for a fast banking model.Read full review
