In the short time I have had it, it's great!
A kit that comprises of all of the right stuff to make your non-central locked car central locked!
We have an issue where one of the fobs triggers another electronic remote controlled light, but aside from this, I cannot fault this kit.
The kit is easy to install, even with one of our doors on the van being a particularly tricky install, you just had to be patient.
We purchased this version for the rolling-code function, as security was top priority!Read full review

Not Universal.
I am a fully qualified, but retired auto technician, with 40+ years w/shop experience.
I purchased this kit to fit to a Volvo 940, to work in tandem with the existing central locking, in order to acquire the Remote Keyless function offered by this kit.
In the event, it proved impossible due to the location of the existing motor and linkage, plus the close working proximity of the window elevator mechanism.
My advise to anyone planning on fitting this or any other kit, is to remove the door trim(s), operate the window elevator, and check for a suitable motor location in the door(s) before purchasing this or similar kit.
Also be aware that there is no facility for linking in to the indicator system to "flash" when operating.
On the positive side, I was impressed by the quality of this kit, and although there are cheaper kits out there, I can recommend this product from Hawk.Read full review

I the relays didn't realise until I came to do the Job that the original relays were integral with the door locking system, even so I used the rest of the equipment and used the original relays. Good quality kit
Really glad I bought this kit its made life much easier and I recommend it. Easy enough to fit and the remote works from quite a distance however the wire for the nearside rear door was a bit short(bearing in mind it's a vw polo which isn't that big) and needed an extension hence the 4 stars.Read full review
