Great Carb

Worked right out of the box and breathed new life into my Volvo Penta AQ260. Literally just hooked up the fuel line and electric choke and turned the key. Fired right up.

One thing to note. This carb does not come with a PCV port in the back. (The part for the hose that goes to the valve cover.) I drilled it out the port and used an 1/8 NPT tap. Worked like a charm.Read full review

Okay, for the uninitiated, this 1409-e Edelbrock is just great! It is rebuilt but perfect in its rebuild. These guys are great, shipped on time, in plastic, well protected, and ready to go. Carb is a 1406, made into a 1409 to comply with marine use, but jets and metering rods in the carb are stock for a 1406, so to make it truly a 1409, jets and metering rods will need changed. Overall the rebuild is of great quality, OE accelerator pump, all hardware was the good quality OE hardware. All linkage was in excellent condition. Read full review

edelbrock carburetors

I put an edelbrock carb on my 72 dodge challenger several years ago and was amazed how well it performed right out of the box. fits perfect for Carter too

good choice for less money to have many option for fine tune the carb. I work it on my 66' SportFury 318 poly with two 4Barrel :-))
only i still miss, that the parts aren't in a box or bag, with numbers by size to know more rapid wich needle or rod i've in Hand.... so i have to show it trough a linse and have to find out....
