A good replica of the original part
Only time will tell if it is good quality. I have fitted it and it works. I was pleased that the spade terminals could be dispensed with and the original ring terminals fitted on the stud.

The unit appears to be well made and similar to the Lucas product it replaces. It is now fitted to 'quality' car from 1963 and is doing a good job

Not fit for purpose.
After being fitted to a 1951 Ford Pilot it was started no more than a dozen times and stuck in the on position, burning out the starter motor. Although it frees after a light tap I can't trust it and have had to buy another from elsewhere. Read full review...

Starter solenoid with manual push button
This was bought as a spare incase the existing one broke down, it looks the same as the Lucas one but is a few quid cheaper. As the existing solenoid was not the cause of my starting woes, I have not yet tried it out yet.
