This is a great little doorbell for a small condo or apartment. It's not very loud but it does have several ring tones and I found one that let's me know someone is at the door. It's wireless. So, you just put the button on the outside of your door with two-sided tape. Then place the small ringer wherever you think you would best hear it. I put mine on the inside wall of the hallway bathroom and that works great for me. The volume cannot be increased and that is probably the only drawback. But in a small dwelling, it works fine. It's Ok

For the money it is ok, the sounds is low and the Winchester Chime is not a full version. If you have a 2 story house I would look elsewhere

I couldn't beat the price anywhere. For a cordless doorbell, it works flawlessly. I put one on the kitchen door that goes "bing-bong" and one on the front door that goes "bing-bong-bing-bong".
