They regained the rights to the title after more than a decade. They created an amazing came that captures the dark humor, and offensive spirit of the first. For the sake of comparison, this game feels like George Miller returning to the Mad Max series after being away for decades. The vision hasn't changed, the budget, and technology have now caught up with the game they were always capable of.
