Great Disney Soundtrack

This soundtrack is another great Disney soundtrack. It has some great songs that are perfect for road trips, such as “Route 66.” My favorite song is “Life is a Highway.” There are also several instrumental songs that may be boring to some, including me, but they are good if you have seen the movie, as they remind you of the scenes. Overall I find that the non-instrumental songs make it worth listening to, just skip the instrumentals if it is not your thing.Read full review...

Disney Movie- "Cars" Soundtrack

This is a great soundtrack for the whole family. Lots of great Country/Western and Pop hits by some Big Names in the music world are included, as well as the background score which is beautiful and as well done as any Oscar winning score. My 2 year old grandson is so in love with this movie, I had to buy the soundtrack to play when we take rides in the car. He actually knows some of the words and tries to sing along. I love it because it's music I can enjoy, too---not like listening to "Baby Songs" over and over!! Great Songs!

My toddler loves this CD so much. I have heard track 3 (life is a highway - "mack's song") and track 15 (instrumental - "frank's song") about a thousand times in the past week. It's better than most kids music CD's, it has real artists - Brad Paisley and Sheryl Crow. Making it tolerable for adults! We normally don't listen to the 10 tracks of instrumentals, but it's alright background music as well. Great alternative to having to watch the movie.

Cars Cd

I really like this cd. I play it often in the house when I have to clean. I love the variety of songs. Listening to the same artist song after song seems like all the songs sound alike.

This one has oldies, country, slow songs that gives it a good mix. Its clean and a great cd for kids and adults.

My son also likes to listen to it when he is getting ready for bed. He is the biggest cars fan.

I also bought the soundtrack for him when we are in the van. We do so much traveling I like a huge variety of music that the whole family can enjoy.Read full review...

Cars is the perfect disney soundtrack. It is also the perfect roadtrip soundtrack, having the wonderful Sheryl Crown and John Myer in it. The music fits in perfectly with the movie. The score is wonderful and the music is just as wonderful.

I was going to buy a CD from Rascal Flatts for a certain song. Buying the Cars Soundtrack was a better buy.

great CD

I bought this for my son, 15 months old now. He loves the movie so I bought the CD for our car rides. The first half are the popular songs and the second half are the instrumental scores. I wasn't too thrilled about that at first but my son actually recognizes the scores and will act out the action according to the scene. It's not all the music from the movie. It's missing at least the Kenny G song and the song that was playing when DJ and his friends first approached Mack. Can't say I'd demand those next time. Its a good mix as it is.Read full review...

Cars is One of Disney's Greatest Films Ever!!!

I took my children to this movie thinking it was only going to be for them, but I was wrong. This movie has the thrill of adventure and great humor to top it all off. Larry the Cable Guy does the voice for Mater, and he is amazing. This movie appeals to those who love racing and even those who don't. There are so many unique cars and trucks in the movie each with their own distict personality. I decided to buy this movie because it is one that I can watch over and over and not get bored with it.
