I've used this steam setter for many years. However, the first one I purchased lasted for many, many years and at that time salt was used in the steamer. Since then I have purchased two more which no longer require salt and I found that they do not last anywhere near as long as the original one I purchased. Nice if it works well for your hair

This product is quick and easy to use. It does make my hair feel soft and silky, however the clips leave a dent in my hair. I ordered some metal clips online to try with the setter. For me, my hair looks better curled with a curling iron. I feel the curls with this setter have an 80's hair style look. Makes sense as I think thats when the Caruso was popular. But it may work for some people. Definitely healthier to use for your hair.Read full review
