Great motor and ESC

It is a great upgrade from the stock 550 series brushed motor. The 3800Kv with 2S is a great choice and works well. I ran this unit HARD in my Arrma Granite 4x4 and it did not get hot at all (the stock ESC and motor would get hot within 15-20 minutes -- I ran this for many hours and multiple battery packs and it never got above 'warm'). I also ran it through 4" of mud/water, while the rest of my truck required new bearings, this motor combo still ran beautifully. Read full review
