Sad thought provoking film, one of the best films about the horrors of the Vietnam war and what can happen

Powerful emotional movie by Brian De Palmer, with an outstanding cast,one of Sean Penn best performances as the hard lined sergeant,for which he was nominated for an Oscar.
Micheal j fox shines too, as the tormented GI who rebels against his squad mates and see justice served.

Loosely based on true events that happened in South Vietnam in October 1966.

Watch this film........ its graphic and shocking but beautiful cinema and lavishly shot in the Eastman colour palette.

A far better film than critics reviewed in the day.
Still looks good and stands up today.
