Form over function

I bought this for cutting photographic prints for selling. Unfortunately the cut on 300gsm fine art paper is not a clean cut. It is therefore not up to the task for my purposes and I couldn't use it on prints to sell. I'll either go back to manual cutting or I guess I may need to go for a less lightweight trimmer.Read full review

Smooth Action Trimmer

I purchased a Laminator that will take A3 paper, and you have to trim the paper slightly to fit an A3 pouch. I saw this trimmer on Ebay, and after reading the reviews, I bought it.
It has positive smooth action and is very sharp. It trims A3 paper, leaving a clean edge. As I will only be using it occasionally, I am hoping that the blade will last a few years before needing replacing.Read full review

Cuts paper and other stuff

Good: It cuts in straight lines and without tearing the edges, which is exactly what I was looking for in the cutting sense.
Bad: The side guide edge isn't quite perpendicular to the cutting blade, and there is no adjustment. I really need cuts at 90deg, but with this I can't rely on the side guide to achieve this. If the side guide was right I'd give this 5 stars instead of 4.Read full review
