DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Try to get a Parabolic Newtonian NOT a Catadioptric-Newtonian and make sure it really is a Parabolic mirror. These catadioptric Newtonian telescopes, typified by having a tube half the focal length long, are a complete B to collimate and once you have, the barlow lens in the draw-tube isn't very good quality and only serves to magnify the errors in the image from the spherical mirror! Avoid at all costs! Not just Celestron - But ALL Catadioptric-Newtonian telescopes!

Avoid if you can
This is a scope that is only good for visual astronomy and is absolutely useless if you want to do any imaging with it. it is a real pain to collimate the main mirror. It is a "Bird Jones" design and inferior to a normal Newtonian scope. I would recommend people research and read reviews. Read full review...
