Celestron close up 10x25

Good quality optics but spoilt by numerous internal debris on the objective lens. As the monocular is waterproof and therefore dust proof, the debris must have been present at the time it was manufactured. So quality control must be very poor. The scope also suffered from fairly bad internal reflection and was unusable when viewing with the sun to the left or right of the user.
And finally the box my scope came in had a date of 2012 so apparantly it was seven years old when I purchased it.Read full review

Answer looking for a problem

I do part time.security;I keep an eye on the activities of football/rugby crowds. Its not obtrusive as well being so compact.

Dissapointed

Perhaps I was expecting too much.........but the optical image was quite poor...Quite soft. . I have many binoculars and know what a good sharp image should look like. Perhps I got a bad unit ?

Pocket rocket

I use it at work, great to keep in my pocket and if I see so etching flying over or sitting on a Bush it's quick to focus giving good clear image, made well, good weight and sturdy

The monocular appears to be sturdy and well made, and the manufacturer has a good reputation, but unfortunately it is badly fogged inside.
