Not worth the money
After 24 hours the gears started slipping and couldn't change gears up or down. Mended it or thought I had as following day again gears slipped then I was left stuck in 1 year again. Not impressed as I need it every Night to ride to work and back in the morning. Waist of money I could if got a decent 2nd hand one that worked for this price.Read full review

Folds as it says
Never seen a folding mountain bike so when received was astounded by the quality and how robust it was for a folding bike, excellent buy

Good value modern folding bike
The main reason most people will look at this bike will be for the folding facility, probably to allow it to be thrown in the back of a car, and at this it excells.
The relase mechanism is simple, although when correctly adjusted to fix the two halves together does require a firm hand to lock and unlock. Once folded it is small and light enough to easily lift into the back of a small hatchback.
The build quality seems quite good, all the welds seem substancial and the paint finish is very good for this sort of price.
The sprung front forks are still rigid and absorb road bumps and thumps well, although the rear wheel is a fixed item, so it might pay to experiment with tyre pressures.
The supplied seat is probably typical of the market, but a bit narrow for my inexperienced
liking, and got swopped quickly with something a bit more supportive.
There is plenty of height adjustment on both the handle-bar stem and the seat stem. (I'm 6ft 4")
The gearchange mechanisms work well, but my only real criticism would be the gear shift handles themselves- these are the "twist-grip" type, and are a bit two short to get a real hand-hold on to change up though the gears easily, although simple to turn coming down.
Assembly out of the carton is pretty straightforward for any biker with even a modest technical ability, but as with anything, it pays to check your work and make sure everything is tight.
The only niggle might be that adjusting the brakes to get rid of free play as things wear can be a bit fiddly, in order to avoid excess friction when the brakes are released.
I don't ride off-road (not fit enough) so how well it will stand up to heavy pounding on a hillside I don't know, but for my requirements it's perfect.
Summary:
Pro's: Good build, looks good, does the job, fols easily, good value at the price.
Con's: Gear change handles stiff.Read full review
