Great Low Tech Security

Have a Chamberlain on one of my garage doors and second door had a 12 year old Sears that seemed to be erratic so needed a replacement. These are no longer available because they are too low tech , they only tell you the door is open or closed (I love it). Current tech is smartphone and security system capable and you can monitor, open, close and tell if you need to restock the fridge from anywhere in the world (if you need this). Replace my CLDM1 Chamberlain Garage Door Monitor

This is a replacement for the one that I already purchased 10 years ago. Pricey, but this unit is no longer available. Like it because its WiFi is independent and not an issue if you want a wireless environment. New type of monitors all use 24/7 WiFi and your smartphone. Useful but Expensive

Handy and accurate. Installation is easy. Double-sided Velcro attachment strips fail in heat. I use super glue. It seems expensive, but it's better than others.
