Chemical guys extreme slick?????

I purchased this based on the name and a few reviews. I had several good coats of a polymer (other brand) on my 2016 corvette. I tried this as a top coat. It was not as slick as the untreated area and it left a dry feel to the paint. It will work as a regular detailer but it was not slick. I then tried it on my solid surface counter top. It had a nice glassy gloss prior to treatment. Chemical guys left it duller and far less slick. Works great but.....

Works great. But.... I honestly can't tell the difference between this and Meguiar's ultimate quik detailer. It's about the same price and with Meguiar's you get more (22oz).
