Il divo christmas collection and Ildivo

Well first of all I did not buy it for myself. I was not aware of this tremendous talent untill by loving wife of 37 years mentioned it one day.Of course all she had to do was mention something and daddy goes to E-bay. I bought her two of their first recordings. One for her kitchen under the counter stereo and one for her car stereo. When she first came she just played them over and over and just stared at the stereo but after that she invited me to listen also in our dual lounge chairs. Well one thing led to another and we had one of our best evenings ever, so daddy was back to ebay looking for another surprise that might lighten my life. It was then that Christmas clicked and I was their Christmas album. Bombs and bright lights went off in my head because she loves Christmas music and Il devo. Bingo I new I was head man in tall cotton with this idea. Again we listened and as a musician myself I became enthralled with beauty and composition of their presentation. This actually the group that we have locked on together with so much passion in our whole marriage. I have no dislikes, not the price, not the songs, not the talent for sure and don't forget the physical attraction lovely old married women have for them as they regain their memories of younger days. The Christmas Collection

What a wonderful CD...love everything about Il Divo and would listen to them 24/7 if I could. Their voices harmonize so well and they are certainly easy on the eyes to look at...Just because it's a Christmas CD, it doesn't mean that I can't listen to it everyday and be taken to another place by their voices. My house has never been so clean, since I listen to them when I clean my house or just relax after a day of work. I wish I had a CD player in my car and you can bet the next car I get will have a CD player in it so they can relax me when I drive. IF-YOU-LOVE-MALE-HARMONIES...

...then this is a must for your collection. Or, if you have a favorite Christmas song, see if you found yours here sung the best you've ever heard it! (I gave away my first copy to my sister who found HERS on here. Then when she got back home, her sister-in-law burned a copy immediately before my sister could even get it to her own house!) These four voices are a credit to Simon Cowell's vision of bringing operatic voices into a new genre of music. And the men themselves are obviously enjoying the challenge. Beautiful Christmas Music !

This music is so beautiful it makes you feel like angels are around you spreading joy and happiness. The voices are so clear its almost like you can feel them in the same room singing just to you. This CD is a collection for the ages to play over and over again. This CD is a great collection of the Holiday music for the Christmas Season. This is a keeper for all ages. IL Divo Christmas CD

I love these guys!! They are perfection. I saw them on Oprah and fell in love with them. I listen/watch them all day long;in the car,on the computer,on the stereo,mp3 player and in my head. I have all of their CD's & DVD's. You don't need to know the words(language) they are singing; you feel the words through their emotion and passion. I've found myself listening to a song in English and not even realizing it was in English! I bought this cd as an extra copy of one I already had. I really like this CD great value for the money.

I really enjoy this recording. The blending of the male voices is excellent, as are the orchestrations. My only complaint is why they chose to include "Over The Rainbow" in a Christmas collection. Other than that, the music and the performances are fine.Read full review...

More than nice voices & pretty faces

As Always Il Divo grately surprises me, this time with the christmass collection, not sure why they included Over the Rainbow the one from OZ, anyway its delightful too, this disk is one more reason to enjoy Christmass Season, wish they would include other classics or release a Christmass Colleciton II, hope they do it again.... traditional christmas music

I loved the bold harmonies in this collection. Growing up with Classical, and church music playing, I yearn for the clean bold harmonies and basic sounds. Il Divo always provides those sounds, and this album is no expection. The sounds are crisp and the hormony is well balanced. The instrumental is never over powering. All in all a wonderful sound for this magical time of year.Read full review...
