You need the Clank Adventure game to play this expanded edition. Play the Adventure game a few times, then throw this into the fun. Both games are most fun with 4 players! For many years I have been a historical board gamer and tried other types of games, but this one keeps you going right to the end not knowing who the winner will be.
Everyone starts out with the same cards and broke. Your cards will determine if you can move, gain money or fight monsters along your way. You will build more and more cards in your hand during your move. The deeper you go below ground level the more your treasures you collect, if your friends don't beat you first. Beside the monsters trying to delay your travels, beware of the dragon who wants to prevent you with hits, enough times to kill you before you exit to the top with your treasures.
